Vehicles With an MSRP over $150,000 Will Be Assessed an Additional Fee of $825.00!
Passenger Cars, Light Weight Trucks*, SUV's Base Registration Fees
An additional $8 fee is charged if a lien is filed on a Montana Registration.
*Light trucks, one ton or less, have an additional fee, based on the Gross Vehicle Weight between $7.21 and $18.03.
Heavyweight vehicles (over 1 Ton) Registration Fees Montana charges a flat fee for the vehicle age and size; in addition, a variable fee is charged based on the GVW. Call our office for more information.
Motorhomes With an MSRP Over $300,000 Will Be Assessed an Additional Fee of $800.00!
Motor Home Registration Fees Montana charges a flat fee for registration of motor homes based upon the age of the vehicle. Registration ranges from $355.02 for Brand New to $303.61 Eleven years and older for Permanent registration.
PERMANENTLY REGISTERED VEHICLES
Camper Trailer Registration Fees
Montana charges a one-time permanent registration for Camper Trailers and 5th Wheels.
Camper Trailers or 5th Wheels 16 feet or more $235.66.
ATV and Motorcycle Registration Fees
Montana charges a one-time permanent fee for any Street Legal Motorcycle and a one-time permanent fee for all Off-Road ATV's.
Boats & Personal Water Craft (Jet Skis)
Montana charges a one-time permanent registration for Boats based on Length.
Cargo and Utility Trailers Registration Fees
Montana charges a Flat Fee for registration of Cargo and Utility Trailers based on Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). This registration is a one-time permanent registration.
